Statement of Faith

The Bible

We believe all scripture is God inspired without error.

God

We believe God is the creator of the world, all wisdom and power come from Him.  We believe He manifests Himself in three persons The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. 

Jesus

We believe Jesus Christ was both fully God and fully man who was born of a Virgin. He came to seek and to save the lost and through His great love He laid down His life as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.  He rose again, revealing Himself to many and then ascended to heaven.  He now sits at the right hand of the Father as our advocate and high priest.  We believe He is our redeemer not our condemner and we believe we are to follow in His will by loving one another.

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells in us.  He is here to convict us of our sins, to empower us with His strength and to guide us in our daily living and service for God. The same spirit that rose Christ from the dead is the Spirit within us who raises us from our spiritual death.

The Great Commission

We believe in the great commission. Christ will return one day.  Jesus told His disciples the harvest is ready, but the workers are few. He told them to go into all the world to teach and to preach the good news. We are to be the workers in His field.

Salvation

We believe there is only one way to Heaven.  Christ shed His blood on the cross for us that we might be justified and saved through Him.  Salvation is a free gift, but one must confess with their mouths and believe in their hearts that Jesus Christ is Lord.  

Education

We believe God is the true giver of all wisdom and knowledge of counsel and sound judgement.  The bible states in Proverbs 8: 5 Those who are foolish should gain understanding.  We believe education alongside biblical principles and the power of the Holy Spirit give us the greatest ability to discern, to grow and to lead.
