Update from Executive Director, Jayme Hazen on our community from Hurricane Matthew:
We are working hard to raise money for the community of LaFond. We praise God that over $3400.00 has come in so far. But we have so far to go with estimates coming in around $120,000 needed to really bring this community back to life.
We will be looking for grants for the feeding program, and to put a cement roof on our school so that when a storm approaches again our families will have a safe place to go. However, if you know of a church or business that would like to have us come in and share the story of LaFond please let us know. God is great!
Today, 100 packages of rice and oil went out to the families in Lafond. Pastor and his wife along with fellow workers split up the rice and oil make sure as many as could could receive help.
